Up and Down, Up and Down
There have been so many happenings this week it will be hard to sum it all up, so in order to make it easiest, I will keep it to the bulleted form.
Some points of interest:
We received a package from Lauren’s lovely sister which included such wonderful goodies as sour patch kids, reeses, and m&m’s.
We ran across a conglomerate of JMU’ers in the middle of Old Town Square. How did we officially recognize them, you ask? They were all wearing JMU paraphernalia. Way to represent, Dukes.
My roommates and I decided to venture to Prague Castle after the sun went down and it was, well, breathtaking. The moon was huge and orange, the town was all lit up, and we laid on the ground in the middle of the palace grounds and watched the dark sky. Simply priceless.

Please check out this human hamster wheel we found in the palace. It was actually a pulley system back in the day used to hoist things during construction, but, seriously, humans were actually used in the wheel. Ha!

We also saw this on the metro and it just made us laugh. The American man standing next to it, giving the thumbs up, liked it as well:

I found a gloriously air conditioned Coffee Heaven. Hallelujah. The heat is bad enough, but living sans AC provides for no relief.
And did I mention it's dreadfully hot here now? Because it is. And its painful.
We watched Anchorman last night and it made me miss my sisters. Seriously, people like it here but their quoting skills are pale in comparison to that of the Parker girls together.
And I honestly am feeling better now. I was just masking it earlier pretending I wasn’t really in pain, but in all truth, I am now on the up and up. I came very very close to going to the doctor (of which i was very afraid to do), but truly, by the hand of the Lord, I am doing better. Not at 100% quite yet, but much better than a few days ago.
