The Rundown

My sincerest apologies for the lapse of time between the last post and this one. But it seems, we, the roommates and myself, have.....had a life! We've been pretty busy over the past week, which is welcomed by all, except that it makes for updating less frequently.

Let's start from the beginning... (wednesday was relatively uneventful, and should be skipped in the overview) On Thursday however me and the roomies decided to take a walking tour given by none other than the notorious Stephen. Stephen is a squater at Sir Toby's who has been there since this past fall. He is a retired university history professor who currently spends his days giving historically-accurate Praha tours. We have had many a run in with Stephen, some hostile, some humorous, so for a couple reasons, we decided to journey with him for 5 hours around the city. It was funny, sometimes surreal, and sometimes just plain awkward. But overall, an unforgettable day.

This is Stephen:

After that we had bible study and then Lo and I watched a movie at Michaels. Thoroughly enjoyable evening that included a night tram ride from 3am to 4am, where Lauren and I were offered olives from a can that the nice young Czech guys sitting next to us were eating (if that sounds strange, its because it is). Ohh the joys of night trams.

Catching the metro:

Friday, Saturday, Sunday included eating, cheering for germany, watching movies, shopping, reading, walking alot, eating cream and dream (x2), church, meetings, and entering stages of delirium and "surreal-ity" i was not aware existed.
